RAAG regularly presents its road safety awareness presentation to organisations throughout the Mackay and Bowen Basin Region. Our awareness presentation focusses on specific road safety issues relevant to our region, such as wide loads, fatigue management, distracted driving and more. The faciliators are trained by RAAG to present the program.
RAAG is currently updating this presentation to make it more accessible to organisations and community groups, helping to create a road safe culture in our community. Over the past twenty years RAAG estimates they have presented this program to up to 20,000 people in the Bowen Basin Region.
In 2022-2023, RAAG presented our road safety education program to approximately 1000 people in our community.
